Merf has what all great winemakers must-have.  First, a sixth sense about the grape selection.  Next, exacting standards when blending the best of the best from the vineyards.  This from legendary California winemaker Jed Steele, a Northstar consultant who has worked with Merf since 2001.  In addition, Merf holds a degree in Horticulture with an emphasis in Viticulture and Enology from Washington State University.
