Anderson Conn Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Reserve 2016 | A Gorgeous Wine
94 AG Vinous | A gorgeous wine, the Anderson Conn Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Reserve 2016 is dark and wonderfully fleshy. Dark cherry, sweet tobacco, mint, lavender, scorched earth, savory herbs, and sweet oak accents add layers of depth. The Reserve is ample, creamy and voluptuous in the glass, with an old-school sense of structure to balance things out. This is a fabulous showing. Dense and yet quite classic in feel, the 2016 is just as impressive as it was last year.

Founder & Winemaker Todd Anderson
So, after graduating from the University of Pacific in Stockton, CA with a degree in Geology Todd went to work for a small geophysical firm that was on the cutting edge of technology for seismic oil and gas exploration. Todd soon realized the corporate world was not for him. Although he loved the industry he was in, he continually had thoughts of the outdoors and getting back in touch with the soil. These thoughts, along with the mention from his parents of starting a “small vineyard. And that’s what led to the creation of Anderson’s Conn Valley Vineyards.
