About the Philosopher
Naturally, we encountered more questions than answers when it came to creating a label for Anarchist Wine Co The Philosopher 2013. Our winemaker convinced that the wine speaks for itself, advocated for no label at all. Well, that isn’t legal, so we set off in search of an artistic solution to our existential dilemma. We discovered an intriguing algorithm, one that generated meandering patterns with no end, matching question for question the deep genius of this wine. To complete our quest we turned to our favorite philosophers, gleaned data from their life histories, and merged it with our algorithm. The resulting art reveals the mysteries of truth and beauty captured by The Philosopher.
