More about the Ethiopian Wolf…
The elegant, long-legged Ethiopian Wolf is only found in the mountains of Ethiopia, where no more than 500 survive in scattered populations threatened by habitat loss and disease. Ethiopian wolves are the guardians of the roof of Africa.  Only 600 remain in the wild!
Where do Ethiopian wolves live? As their name suggests, Ethiopian wolves are endemic to Ethiopia, where they are restricted to just seven isolated enclaves in the country’s highlands. The largest population can be found in the Bale Mountains in southern Ethiopia.
