Tzora Vineyards and winemaker Eran Pick
While Judean Hills rising sharply from the coastal plain is where Tzora Vineyards resides. Exhibiting ideal growing conditions the region is renown for high-quality vineyards. Also, terraces cling to this rugged area in a multitude of directions as they follow the contours of the steep slopes. With cold winters, sharp temperature drops during the short summer nights and early morning summer mists. In addition, variations in soils from rocky limestone outcrops to ones rich in minerals, contribute to the character. As a result, the Tzora Shoresh Red 2015 has wonderful balance and great longevity.
The wines of Tzora reflect the Judean Hills’ unique terroir. Hence, to achieve this goal, they make wine only from their estate’s fruit, grown in three vineyards.
Eran Pick completed his B.S degree in Viticulture and Enology with Highest Honors at the University of California, Davis. He is a Master of Wine since 2016. Pick joined Tzora Vineyards’ team in 2006, following a few training periods at wineries in Napa, Sonoma, Barossa, and Bordeaux.
