A joint project of Josh Phelps and Carlo Trinchero.  So this 60% Cabernet Sauvignon / 40% Merlot is dense purple in the glass.  In addition heady aromas of blackberries, currants, licorice, and vanilla that lead into an opulent array of flavors that dance on the palate.  While concentrated layers of dark fruits and spice transition into a fleshy mid-palate and lingering finish.  That makes it nearly impossible not to have another sip. Most of all at a tariff that is sure to deliver value in spades.  Hence, this is one you definitely shouldn’t pass up.

From the Winery

Dark garnet red with a purple hue.  The nose of this classic Cabernet-based blend is incredibly flashy with aromas of fresh blueberries, blackberries, super ripe black cherries and underlying tones of earth, crushed graphite, toasted espresso beans and dark chocolate. The French oak is subtle yet present.

This powerful wine boasts copious amounts of ripe red fruit, blueberry, and plum. Dark chocolate and tastefully integrated oak add complexity to the full-bodied mouthfeel, while the texture and flavors linger on the palate for a good 30 seconds after enjoying. Ready to drink now and should continue to evolve for 8 – 10 years.
