Shiloh Mosaic 2016 | Way too good to just have on Passover
Shiloh Mosaic 2016 is a blend of the finest Merlot (60%), Cabernet Franc (40%), Cabernet Sauvignon (7%), Petit Verdot (7%) and Petite Sirah (6%). The wines are vinified separately, spending a full year in French oak barrels before being blended, at which point the blend is aged in barrel for another six months.
Great wines that happen to be kosher
The color is a deep, almost impenetrable garnet. Aromas are of ripe blackberry, cedar, and cacao that lead into flavors of dark fruit preserves, forest floor, and vanilla. Pairs well with prime rib. Drink now-2028+.
