Lorenza Rosé 2017 displays pale, pink salmon in the glass. Supremely aromatic, with a mineral-tinged bouquet of white peach, tangerine, and lavender in equal measure.  In addition, distinct blood orange and rose petal notes.  While An electrifying mouthfeel yields to an elegant, crisp finish.   Yet dry and mineral through and through with fresh apricot and bright citrus lingering. Winery | Lorenza Rosé 2017  is a dry, true rosé meaning we harvest the grapes early in the season with the intention of making rosé. We have been making rosé since 2008 before it was cool! We are still making the wine in the same way working with 100-year-old Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache, and Mourvedre vines. First of all, starting our brand because we love Provençal rosé.  And wanting to up the game on our own turf with an authentic rosé coming out of California. It’s thrilling the rest of the world has caught on. So believing that Rosé makes people happy and Lorenza is our way of spreading the love.

Winemakers Melinda Kearney & Michele Ouelette | Girls Just Having Fun

From the very first vintage in 2008, mother-daughter team Melinda Kearney and Michèle Ouelette have been laser-focused on making this delicate beauty.  Rather drawing from gnarled old vines. Melinda and Michèle both fell in love with rosé, separately.

Melinda grew to love the dry rosés of Provence as she learned every aspect of the wine business since 1990, working in everything from production to sales. Melinda’s daughter Michèle encountered rosé as a teenaged model in Paris, as le vin avec le diner.  While her French hosts not thinking twice when serving their young and gorgeous guest. When Melinda and Michèle decided to start their own label, they chose to focus on dry rosé.
