Secret Source and Secret Sauce!
The source of this one, like all the Kinfolk wines, has to remain a secret. While coming from one of the most awarded, critically praised producers in all of Sonoma County…
Situated on a hillside in the most northern reaches of Dry Creek Valley. So this estate-grown Sauvignon Blanc is from a vineyard naturally irrigated by an underground spring giving the vines all the water they need and not a drop more. The fruit, as a result, is concentrated. Naturally packing a serious punch allowing it to age gracefully for years longer than most Sauvignon Blanc. Nearby redwood groves help moderate the temperature and provide a hedge against warm days, which means that the wine has as much ripe fruit as acidity. The tension between the two is striking, and far more typical of a wine that costs three or four times as much.
