K Vintners The Deal Sundance Vineyard Syrah 2016 | The Deal is a ‘Deal’ – grill a steak and indulge
K Vintners The Deal Sundance Vineyard Syrah 2016 saturates the palate with aromas and flavor. With black plum, shitake, toasted rye, tangerine zest, dried tarragon, and aged soy sauce. While there are many more that could be added to this list. All this perfectly knitted together with the most compelling and harmonious fashion. The wine keeps its end of the bargain and it’s the real deal!
94JD | The 2016 Syrah The Deal comes from the sandy, loamy soils of the Wahluke Slope and has classic earthy notes of spices, forest floor, dried herbs, hot stones, and a crushed rock-like sensation of minerality. While full-bodied, concentrated, and opulent on the palate. Yet it has a beautiful balance between richness and elegance, fine tannins, and a great finish. So, drink it over the coming 7-8 years.
94JS | This is from the Sundance Vineyard, which has volcanic, sandy soils at a higher elevation than the surrounding plots. The nose has aromas of crushed dried flowers and bright red berries that follow to the palate where a streak of sweetly spicy oak threads into the ripe, composed and elegant red-plum finish. Drink over the next decade.

The Vineyards: While K Vintners is producing wines from 2 distinctive viticultural zones. Wahluke Slope and Walla Walla Valley. Yet each of these areas is unique and awesome for Syrah and the Field Blends produced.
