While Jean Hoefliger has a delightfully ribald sense of humor and razor-sharp wit, he is dead serious when it comes to oenology. His latest project “Theorize” produces wildly popular wines.  Theorize refers to Jean’s constant exploration of winemaking technique.  Not to mention the Swiss training that brought him such success at Château Lynch-Bages, Château Carbonnieux, and Newton here in the valley.  And of course, countless consulting projects (and numerous 100-Point Wines) working with the esteemed Michel Rolland.
